next workout schedule

A couple days ago, I detailed my bike fitting(s) and new components.  I am doing all of this because I want to enjoy my cycling more, yes.  But also because I signed up to ride in the San Diego Century ride in late May.  That race has three distances, 37, 66, and 103 miles.  I can actually do any of those for what I paid but I am planning on doing the 66.  Since the longest I've ridden to date is 40 miles, I'd best start ramping up!

So what do I do?  I make a plan.  What is better than a plan with stuff I can check off?  Here it is.

You can see from the colored cells that cross-training is well-represented in this plan.  No more tight focus which leads to imbalance and injury.  Been there, done that.

I just noticed that I will be unavailable on Sunday so I am going to miss the first workout on my schedule.  That one will never be checked off, bummer!  I'll start with that 20 mile ride next Wednesday.

I hope that I still have energy on Sundays after a workout every day since Wednesday.  If not I'll switch it up.  But if so, I like this plan.  Updates will be posted here of course.
